We humbly ask for your support for these TWO wonderful mama dogs who were recently rescued, along with their puppies. We are in need of vitamins for the mama dogs, as they are lactating, as well as dewormer and vitamins for the puppies. In-kind donations would be greatly appreciated. These dogs are currently fostered by Bacolod City Dog Shelter, located in Brgy 35. We truly appreciate your love and support. This is Tuxy, one of my rescues. I found him in front of Robinson's Mandalagan, in a vacant lot. When the jeepney stopped, I heard a kitten crying. I couldn’t help myself, so I got off and searched for him. I found him crying inside the vacant lot, which was surrounded by a wall. To make the story short, he became part of my growing rescue family.
Now, 10 months later, he is sick. 😭 He hasn’t eaten for 5 days. I’ve been force-feeding him, but he keeps vomiting. Despite having no budget, I decided to have him checked because he seemed dehydrated. The vet put him on IV fluids, and we opted for outpatient care since I couldn’t afford confinement. However, after we got home, just an hour later, he managed to pull out his dextrose. 😭
With no other choice, I brought him back to the vet, and this time, I had him confined. It’s been hard for me to focus on work, and this has been emotionally and financially draining.
I’m asking for your prayers for Tuxy’s healing and, if possible, any financial help you can extend. I have many rescues that I feed and care for, and I’ve run out of funds for vet expenses. 😪
