FYI.... Sphynxes continually top lists for the friendliest cat breeds. In a 2012 study conducted by the Journal of Veterinary Behaviour, 129 cats from 14 breed categories were ranked based on geniality, and the Sphynx came in as the #1 friendliest cat breed!
Don’t worry if your favourite cat breed isn’t on the list, within all breeds and mixes can be the friendliest and most affectionate individuals. All cats are different, and although breeds have their specific personality traits there are a few cat breeds who are typically rather friendly. When you choose to share your life with a cat, remember that breed is not the only element that creates a friendly kitty.
