🐾🌞 Summer is here, and it's getting hot out there! ☀️🐶 It's important to keep our furry friends cool and comfortable during these warm months. Here are some tips to help your dog beat the heat:

Stay hydrated: Always make sure your pup has access to fresh, clean water, especially when you're out and about.
Limit exercise: Avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest parts of the day. Opt for early morning or late evening walks when it's cooler.
Provide shade: If your dog spends time outdoors, make sure there's a shady spot for them to relax in.
Never leave them in a hot car: Even with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can quickly become dangerous for pets.
Cooling mats or towels: Lay down a cooling mat or damp towel for your dog to lay on.
Frozen treats: Make some dog-friendly frozen treats like ice cubes with a piece of fruit inside or frozen peanut butter treats.

Keep an eye out for symptoms like excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or even collapse. If you notice any of these signs, move your pet to a cool, shaded area immediately, offer water, and contact your veterinarian. Let's keep our pets safe and healthy in the heat!
