Did you know?❓️

🧨 Firecrackers can distress pets, including both dogs and cats, due to their sensitive hearing. The loud noises can trigger anxiety, fear, and stress, causing behaviors like hiding, shaking, or even attempting to escape.

🐕🐶For Dogs: To help reduce their anxiety during New Year celebrations, create a safe and cozy indoor space. Play calming music, use white noise, or try a snug-fitting anxiety wrap. Gradual desensitization to loud sounds through positive associations can also help in the long term.

🐈🐱 For Cats: Cats may hide under furniture or try to flee during noisy celebrations. Provide them with a quiet, secure space where they can retreat. Add soft bedding, close windows to muffle the noise (but leave enough for ventilation), and ensure their favorite hiding spots are accessible.

🐾Extra Tip: Secure your pets in a room where they can’t accidentally get out, and minimize disruptions from people coming in and out.

Samoyeds are known for their friendly and sociable nature, making them wonderful companions. They thrive on human interaction and typically get along well with other pets.

Despite their dense, double-layered coats, they are relatively low-maintenance when it comes to cleanliness, often called "Teflon dogs" because dirt doesn't cling to their fur.
