Did you know❓️

🧨 Firecrackers can distress dogs due to their sensitive hearing. The loud noises can cause anxiety, fear, and stress, leading to behaviors like hiding, shaking, or even running away.

🐶🐾To reduce dog anxiety during the New Year celebrations, create a safe and comfortable space for your dog indoors, play calming music, use white noise, and consider a snug-fitting anxiety wrap. Gradual desensitization to loud sounds through positive associations can also help over time.

In addition, make sure to secure your pets in a safe and secure room, where it can't get out, and people are not going into. Give them a bed and blanket to burrow into. Close the windows so the noise is muffled and they can't get out, just leave enough open for ventilation.
