Heads up Baguio bunny slaves! You can have your bunny spayed/neutered in GPH Veterinary Services!
Read Creme's spay experience written by her hooman!
"Just sharing my experience having Creme spayed at GPH Veterinary Services, Baguio City last May 14 in case anybody is at the area/nearby. We came all the way from San Jose City, Nueva Ecija and the vets did a great job, no regrets traveling far. 😊
There's an animal grooming center upstairs where I had my bun trimmed for *redacted* too.
---
Costs breakdown (my bunny was 1.65kg at the time)
CBC [done same day]: *redacted*
Surgical cost: *redacted*
Meds [Meloxicam and Enrofloxacin]: *redacted*
Cone: *redacted*
Total: *redacted*
The cone wasn't necessary and we got rid of it anyway. There's comprehensive bloodchem for *redacted*, so be ready just in case, but we didn't need it. We also bought extra tawa tawa pills because she was slightly anemic.
---
She had her tummy, ear and leg shaved. They took blood tests from her ear and leg. The clinic used gas anesthesia for the procedure and had it all done within a day (we arrived at 8:00am and checked her out at 4:00pm). Doc Wendy was really nice and handled Creme really well. There's supposed to be a follow-up check up 7 days after the spay but we couldn't travel again, so they just called in and had us check on her. We brought her back around May 30 for a check-up and deworming, just in case.
Overall a really pleasant experience! I was a bit skeptical because there wasn't much info about the clinic on groups here but I'm glad I checked it out. The vets were professional and cared about my bunny. If you're looking to get your bun neutered or spayed, I can definitely recommend GPH. We're going back there on December to have Creme checked and for another trim at Luxe Paws."
