CHEWY! PARVO SURVIVOR!🐶💯

Chewy, a 3-month-old puppy, was recently brought to our clinic due to vomiting and lethargy. Diagnostic test was done and we found out that chewy was positive with parvovirus. After 4 days of hospitalization, Chewy has now recovered from Canine Parvovirus.

PYOMETRA‼️

Hazel, a 5 year-old Siberian Husky was brought to us recently for surgery after being diagnosed with pyometra.

🐾Pyometra is a serious and life-threatening condition involving an infection in the uterus. It typically requires emergency surgery to remove the reproductive tract, which in turn spays the pet.

🐾Most common in middle-aged to older dogs that haven't been spayed.

🐾Symptoms can include, vaginal discharge, lethargy, fever, vomiting, increased thirst or urination, bloated or swollen abdomen, and excessive panting.

🐾The most effective treatment is surgery to remove the uterus and ovaries, also known as an ovariohysterectomy or spay. Dogs that are diagnosed and treated early have a good prognosis.

PAALALA: Sa lahat po ng clients/patients ng Vetlink, pinapabatid lang po namin na sa April 20, 2024 ang clinic hours lang po muna namin ay 9am to 5pm.

Sa April 21-22, 2024, sarado po ang clinic upang bigyan-daan ang taunang summer outing ng lahat nang employees at management nito.
