Hansolo Urethrostomy journey
Hansolo came to our clinic for emergency urinary catheterization, unfortunately urinary catheterization was unsuccessful due to blockage. Urethrostomy was discussed to his loving fur parents.
Before the surgery CBC, blood chemistry and urinalysis was conducted. Struvite crystals were found, his kidney and liver profile were elevated.
His fur parents decided to push through with the surgery. The procedure went well, and hospitalized for after care.
The cause of struvite crystals in cats is most often the result of eating dry cat food. Due to the lack of moisture in the diet, the urine becomes too concentrated and highly alkaline. A balanced raw meat diet should help to resolve the problem and help eliminate the occurence of struvite crystals in the urine.

Here he is now. Living healthy and a better life. With medicated diet and supplements, his kidney’s and liver are okay now, stuvite crystals were gone as well.

Moolah was brought to the clinic last October 18, 2022 for having a urinary problem. His bladder was distended and has hematuria (bloody urine).
Lab test were performed;
Urinalysis - Pus cells and Crystals were found.
Blood chemistry shows elevated kidney and liver profile.
An indwelling urinary catheter will be in placed for 5 days till the urine becomes clear.
Hopefully Moolah's body will respond to all his medications. We pray for your fast healing and recovery Moolah🙏

Meet sweet Mike!
Mike, went to our clinic yesterday with these following symptoms; Constricted pupils on both eyes and not responding to the light, patch of reddened tissue on the left lower eyelid, incoordination and confusedness.
He was diagnosed, suffering from Horner's Syndrome. Series of laboratory test were conducted including radiography. Fortunately enough nothing alarming seen in his x-ray.
The most common causes however are:
*Idiopathic (unknown cause or reasons) most common.
*Trauma
* Mass in the chest.
*Inner ear infection.
*Cancer of the nerves along the pathway.
*Neuropathy, such as hypothyroidism.
In addition to that Mike is also diagnosed with Parvovirus, Giargiasis and Corona Virus.
But Mike has no sign of giving up so easily, he fought for his life and try to keep on battling those diseases he is facing. Mike is more active now compare the day he was brought here. Thanks to Mike's loving and caring owner, he also never gave up on him (Mike).
We wish you well sweet Mike, hope you get well soon and free from all your illnesses🙏. Keep brave and strong Mike💪. Do not skip your medications and check ups sweet Mike, we're with you!👍
