Dear hoomans,

We hope this message reaches your hearts. We are the dogs you see on the streets, often overlooked and forgotten. Sometimes, viewed with pity or even disgust because of our appearance. Our bodies are dirty and our fur is matted, not because we choose to be this way, but because there is no one to care for us.

Life on the streets is so tough for us. Everyday is a struggle for survival. We face hunger, harsh weather, and sometimes, unkind treatment. Despite all this, we remain hopeful. We wag our tails at the sight of a friendly face and dream of a warm place call home.

Please understand that we are not "kadiri" because of how we look. Our unkempt appearance and the wound on our bodies are not reflections of our true selves, but rather the result of neglect and the harsh conditions we endure daily. We live in a world where love and care are rare luxuries, and our wounds are the stories of survival, not of worthlessness.

We don't ask for much➖️ just a little love and care. A bowl of food, a safe place to sleep, and a kind word can make a world of difference to us. In return, we promise to give you unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and the kind of joy that only a dog's love can bring.

Please when you see us, remember that we too have feelings and dreams. We long for a chance to be part of a family, to have a home where we can feel safe and loved. Adopt us, helps us heal, and you will find a companion who will forever grateful.

Our very sweet Marty was brought to an adopter who initially liked him during the screening, but sadly, they refused to accept him today because Marty didn't meet their expected size. (They are expecting chihuahua size for an aspin)

But, as you can see.. very happy pa din si Marty nung binawi namin because he knows and we know, they don't deserve him. He deserves a family who will love him unconditionally, not based on breed or size. 🥰🐾

Marty has been in the shelter for almost 4 years now. He is nuetered and possesses all the qualities of a loving, loyal companion.

We screen our adopters to ensure our rescues will enjoy a free-roam lifestyle, rather than being leashed or used as guard dogs. What you see on the video is exactly what we want to experience of our rescues. Some adopters worry that our screening process is judgemental. It's not true. If mabuti po ang motibo natin sa pag-ampon at masisiguro na committed na maalagaan ng maayos at tama ang aampunin, hindi po tayo matatakot na magpa screen. We do this for everyone.
