This is an example image of cat flea (ctenocephalides felis), image was about 1-3 mm in actual size but detailed in larger image by using dinolite. Fleas are one of the most common cause of stress factors in cats and also in dogs. Externally they can cause allergic dermatitis. You will probably first notice their effects when you saw your cats repeatedly nibbles and licks its haircoat and skin. In dogs, you may notice them by excessive biting and scratching their coat. Constant licking and biting may lead to noticeable erethematous skin, localized alopecia and sometimes tiny crust around ears, portions of the body, limbs and tail. Usually eggs are visible, they looks like a sand pour in your pets coat but adult one are sometimes sohard to find because they are "jumpers". Fleas also are the vectors of internal parasite such as tapeworms that may cause loss multiple systemic problems. In Human sometimes they also may cause allergy.

Fleas are resistant in warm and cold seasons therefore the only way to get rid of them is to break their lifecycle. First clean the environment and always vacuuming or washing the carpets, beddings and cleaning wood furnitures where probably they most of the time they are hiding and to your pets by using topical tick and flea preventive like sprays. shampoos and spot-ons ( is the most recommended one of our shop) regularly.

Ticks, a common external parasite that can affect wide range of animals. This includes out beloved dogs and cats.

It has 4 pairs of legs and measures from 3-4 mm unfed and up to 12 mm engorged.

Tick can also can carry and transmit diseases such as Ehrlichiosis, Rickettsiosis, and Babesiosis.

Preventive measures are done to keep our furbabies healthy.

So consult with your Veterinarian.
