A little help goes a long way
Last week we haven't met the target amount for caretaker's salary and labor fee for bakod. During instances like this, we cover what we can and that's mostly from our fund intended for the rescues' food.
We are grateful po for all those who are always there to help. We also have Merch hoomans as we are trying to be self-sustaining. We also have side hustles as we understand that relying on a single income stream and donations alone will not be sufficient in running a shelter.
We also took in four dogs last week. We will post them for adoption po once they are ready. For now, may you kindly continue to help us as they have needs while in rehabilitation.

Dahil po sa mga sunod-sunod na pagbagyo at katagalan na rin po ng panahon bumigay ang ibang areas ng bakod. Natapos po nila itong gawin ng isa at kalahating araw. Kailangan po itong ayusin agad para kapag nagwowalk po ang mga a*o ay maiwasan ang kanilang pagtakas lalo na po sa mga bago.
Kung nung nakaraan po ay hindi na sila naningil sa labor ng kubo ngayon po ay may pangangailangan sila sa pamilya kaya po sana matulungan ninyo kami na mabayaran ang kanilang labor fee.

They said that Animal rescue is like emptying the ocean using a teaspoon. That's true. Problems after problems. Unending cycle of animal cruelty, abandonment, euthanizing.. no doubt, we are all for spaying and neutering, advocating change, rehab and adoption yet we can only do so much.
We barely keep our heads above water the past months. So for those of you who are still here, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
For those who feel like they are not helping enough like us, let me tell you that you're doing your best in your own little way. Whether you donated your last 20 'cause that's all that you have, whether you encourage family and friends to help us, whether you acknowledge our need of help on a weekly basis and all you can do is pray, or whatever you do to contribute is very much appreciated. We see you.
Let's continue to do our best in the ways we know how.

Hello hoomans! For those who are struggling yet still surviving, we want you to know that you are not alone. We are just like you who barely made it to the month-end yet HERE WE ALL ARE. Matatapos na ang buwan pero nakakaraos pa rin tayo. All by God's grace.

Sometimes, we are lost for words. We don't know what to say anymore because no matter what we post, only few are chipping in (we are deeply grateful for you, you all know who u are).
