One day, I woke early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

Ah the beauty of God's creation is beyond description.

As I watched, I praised God for His beautiful work.

As I sat there, I felt the Lord's presence with me.

He asked me, "Do you love me?"

I answered, "Of course, God! You are my Lord and Savior!"

Then He asked, "If you were physically handicapped, would you still love me?"

I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my body and wondered how many things I wouldn't be able to do, the things that I took for granted. And I answered, "It would be tough Lord, but I would still love You."

Then the Lord said, "If you were blind, would you still love my creation?"

How could I love something without being able to see it? Then I thought of all the blind people in the world and how many of them still loved God and His creation.
So I answered, "Its hard to think of it, but I would still love you."

The Lord then asked me, "If you were deaf, would you still listen to my word?"

How could I listen to anything being deaf? Then I understood. Listening to God's Word is not merely using our ears, but our hearts. I answered, "It would be tough, but I would still listen to Your word."

The Lord then asked, "If you were mute, would you still praise My Name?"

How could I praise without a voice? Then it occurred to me: God wants us to sing from our very heart and soul. It never matters what we sound like. And praising God is not always with a song, but when we are persecuted, we give God praise with our words of thanks. So I answered, "Though I could not physically sing, I would still praise Your Name.

And the Lord asked, "Do you really love Me?"

With courage and a strong conviction, I answered boldly, "Yes Lord! I love You because You are the one and true God!"

I thought I had answered well, but...

God asked, "THEN WHY DO YOU SIN?"

I answered, "Because I am only human. I am not perfect."

"THEN WHY IN TIMES OF PEACE DO YOU STRAY THE FURTHEST? WHY ONLY IN TIMES OF TROUBLE DO YOU PRAY THE EARNEST?"

No answers. Only tears.

The Lord continued: "Why only sing at fellowships and retreats? Why seek Me only in times of worship? Why ask things so selfishly? Why ask things so unfaithfully?"

The tears continued to roll down my cheeks.

"Why are you ashamed of Me? Why are you not spreading the good news? Why in times of persecution, you cry to others when I offer My shoulder to cry on? Why make excuses when I give you opportunities to serve in My Name?"

I tried to answer, but there was no answer to give.

"You are blessed with life. I made you not to throw this gift away. I have blessed you with talents to serve Me, but you continue to turn away. I have revealed My Word to you, but you do not gain in knowledge. I have spoken to you but your ears were closed. I have shown My blessings to you, but your eyes were turned away. I have sent you servants, but you sat idly by as they were pushed away. I have heard your prayers and I have answered them all."

"DO YOU TRULY LOVE ME ?"

I could not answer. How could I? I was embarrassed beyond belief. I had no excuse. What could I say to this? When I my heart had cried out and the tears had flowed, I said, " Please forgive me Lord. I am unworthy to be Your child."

The Lord answered, "That is My Grace, My child."

I asked, "Then why do you continue to forgive me? Why do You love me so?"

The Lord answered, "Because you are My creation. You are my child. I will never abandon you."

"When you cry, I will have compassion and cry with you.
When you shout with joy, I will laugh with you.
When you are down, I will encourage you.
When you fall, I will raise you up.
When you are tired, I will carry you.
I will be with you till the end of days, and I will love you forever."

Never had I cried so hard before. How could I have been so cold? How could I have hurt God as I had done? I asked God, "How much do You love me?"

The Lord stretched out His arms, and I saw His nail-pierced hands. I bowed down at the feet of Christ, my Savior. And for the first time, I truly prayed.

Many things will try to challenge and discourage us, but God reminds us not to lose heart. In this life, we may fail and be broken, but God is always present to renew us and give us new hope every day. His mercies are new every morning, and great is His faithfulness. We will be eager and able to live each day knowing that no matter what happens or what season we are in, God is always with us and is there to work things out for our good. His promises are there to strengthen us and remind us to live by faith. Lastly, He is continually molding and making us a testimony of His goodness and faithfulness to others, all for His honor and glory.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." (2 Corinthians 4:16)

Learning to Fight Good Fights

When we became Christians and first believed in Jesus, we began a journey of faith. We committed to becoming a disciple of Jesus, who follows His commands, and trusts in Him.

The apostle Paul, in his instructions to Timothy, encourages him to fight the good fight of faith. This implies that the journey of faith will often be difficult. It will sometimes be messy, hard, and harrowing. Paul’s words serve as a reminder that sometimes—faith looks like a fight.

However, rather than a fight against people, this journey of faith is a fight for goodness, beauty, and faithfulness. We are fighting against our own broken natures, but also against God’s enemies within the spiritual realm.

Fighting often looks like making the right decision even if it’s not the easiest decision. It might mean being gentle when we want to be harsh. It might mean choosing love when it would be easier to be selfish.

Fighting well means remaining faithful to Jesus over the course of your life. You were called to a new life in Christ when you came to faith, and you are called to remain faithful over the course of your life.

So how do you remain faithful? One of the ways you can cultivate faithfulness is by reading God’s Word every day. When you regularly spend time with Him, you begin to love what God loves, and hate what He hates.

But as you seek God in this way, it’s also important to have friendships with people who can encourage you. Having two or three people in life who can help keep you accountable is a necessary part of your faith journey. As you consider what next steps you need to take to fight well, remember that you do not fight alone. God is with you—and when you draw near to Him, He will empower you with the strength you need to finish your faith journey well.

“This year, let the Lord fulfill His plans for you.”

New year, new plans.

We have many plans but God already has a great and beautiful plans in bank for us. God has a purposeful and assured plans for us.

As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God’s plans for us are already established, trustworthy, and for our ultimate good.

Therefore, trust His plans for your life.

“I will be still —

and know you are king of the floods;
and know you are God.”

This year keep the faith.
Choose faith over everything.

No matter what you’ll go through in life — even in seasons of droughts and storms — always remember that you are not alone.

You have a mighty fortress.
You have a companion.
You have a Lord and Savior.

He will be with you in the waters.
He will be with you in all your seasons.
He will uphold and sustain you in all of your days.

“There’s no battle surrendered to God left defeated.”

Whatever battles you may have this year, always choose to surrender it all to God. Give it all to God.

Start this year of surrendering — and letting God take the lead.

Deuteronomy 20:4 — “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”

2 Chronicles 20:15 — “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.”

Praying for you a victorious and meaningful year ahead by God’s grace! 🙏

“Lord, I have nothing but a grateful heart.”

More than anything or what you’re feeling— the gatherings or alone times, the gifts or nothingness, the joy or brokeness, in rich or in poor — may you be reminded that in Jesus there’s completeness.

May you be embraced by God’s love, joy, peace and hope in this season.🙏

I know Christmas setting is not the same for everybody. But once and for all, more than the family gatherings, gifts, foods, lackings, and even the valleys of life —the reason in this season is Jesus. ✨

Jesus is the greatest and best gift for us. That’s the main reason why and that we can celebrate! 🎉

Receive the love, joy, peace, hope, and salvation of Christ this Christmas! 🎄

Grace Shelda’s Story

Hi. I'm Grace. God gave me a vision to inspire other people. Then, He told me to put up this page. I'd love to share it with you: my faith, my testimony, my life with Jesus. It's all about God. The big desire in my heart is to let Christ known, to be a channel of blessing, to lead others closer to Christ, to touch people's lives and to be 'the gospel'. Lastly, I've seen myself to be a Christian Author someday. May this page be my practicing ground. I pray this gonna happen by God's grace and by His will. I've always thanked God because these are the desires that He had put in my heart. I hope and pray you will also be blessed and inspired. God be bless!

THANK YOU JESUS!
