BALUT🐶, one of our in-patients at Pawprints Cabadbaran, who was abandoned after recovery, finally got to meet a brand new Love💖 and a brand new Home🏡 where he can happily live and be well taken care of. Surely, he will have the jolliest tail wag every single day with warm cuddles from these lovely kiddos.

🤔Wondering WHY make sure they should be FIV-FeLV free before giving them shots?
💡Because there is no benefit in administering vaccines to this immunocompromised cats as it will not offer any protection against the virus. There is also a risk that the virus component of the vaccine might regain pathogenicity and that’s more of a concern.

When left untreated, this might lead to becoming a large abscess causing severe discomfort, skin necrosis and painful local tissue destruction. Snoopy was presented to the clinic feverish and lethargic💔 more than a week after the incident(dog fight).

Clinical symptoms include:
⚠️lethargy
⚠️anorexia
⚠️increased thirst
⚠️bloated abdomen
⚠️pus/bloody discharges leaking from vulva/vagina
⚠️vomiting
⚠️panting

If your dog is experiencing any of these symptoms, do not hesitate to take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic for diagnosis and treatment.
