This upcoming weekend, the Le’zNeuter team will once again assemble at Brgy. Baikingon here in Cagayan de Oro City to help make a difference in the lives of its strays, rescues, and pets of the indigent resisents. For years now, we have partnered with gracious host Arikay Farm Campsite in fighting for our cause.

With the bulk of our volunteers being veterinary surgeons and their apprentice based in Bukidnon, most of our cost will be centered on transport at ₱6,000. Our team will be spending the whole day at the area with most registrants being female dogs— requiring a more intricate process “ligate”. We are 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 of breakfast meals for 40 volunteers.

‼️ANOTHER HIT & RUN INCIDENT⚠️‼️

Last Saturday (November 16), two puppies were hit by a taxi at Bamboo Lane Highway — one was unconscious and vomiting blood, the other had a broken leg.💔

They were rushed to Whimsy Vets Pet Care Clinic, but sadly, the unconscious puppy passed away yesterday. The Mama Dog was also found crying outside the clinic and she was with a collar suggesting they have an owner. If you’re the owner, please come to the clinic and help your pets.🥺🙏🏻

To everyone: Please please please,BEEP AND BRAKE for animals. Stray lives matter too, and we must protect them.

We are also seeking donations to cover the vet bills for the surviving puppy. Any amount will help will be of great help and will support us to continue to save more lives.🙏🏻

"Every stray is a soul fighting for a chance to live."

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of TRESE — one of the many rescued souls who came into our lives seeking for compassion.🥺

Trese suffered from maggot infestation coming out of his mouth, eyes, ears, and a**s. Despite our best efforts and medical attention received, Trese passed away after suffering from seizures.😞 We tried to give him the fight he deserved but he wasn’t able to fight back from his severe condition. Rest in Peace, our sweet boy, Trese!🕊️

We give our utmost gratitude to those who prayed, hoped, and donated for Trese. We were able to cover ₱1,460 of his ₱2,700 bill.🥹

We are now hoping for someone who might be able to help sponsor the remaining ₱1,240, so that we can settle Trese's medical costs with the clinic and continue our work to save more lives.🙏🏻

No donation is too small, and every bit helps us keep pushing forward, not just for Trese, but for the countless others like him who are still out there, fighting for their chance to live.

“With compassion, we can help the strays find hope.”

Meet Trese - a stray cat found lying down near the center of the road along Ficcoville-regency by solo rescuers - Sir Lawrence and Ma’am Juvy. They first thought he was lifeless and intended to put him on the roadside. But when they held him, Trese was breathing and fighting for his life, so they still brought Trese with them until they got off from work.

Then, they immediately brought him to Whimsy Vets Pet Care clinic and responding to the emergency at hand - our vet Doc Keeno and assistants Jay-R and Hazel provided him with the medical care he needed.

Trese’s condition is serious — severely dehydrated, with maggot-infested wounds on his face and hump buttocks, and hemorrhaging around his eye region. This was possibly caused by a hit/side sweep by a passing vehicle. Current temperature now is 33.1C.

Trese is currently under monitoring. Your prayers and support can make all the difference in Trese’s journey to recovery. Please help us continue his care and give him a second chance at life.

🐶🐱 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to Centrio Mall today for Ayala's Animal Welfare Day! We had a fantastic time with everyone.

We judged a super cute pet fashion show, gave out free deworming and rabies vaccinations, and had some great conversations about how to care for our furry friends.
