For quite a while Guus Ellenkamp has been training his dogs so they are behaved and listen properly. He is also an admirer of the work and the ideas of Cesar Millan, who is kind of his sample of what he wants to do at least as a part time job: help people with managing their dogs, rehabilitating dogs that are considered problem dogs. So he was very happy to be given the opportunity to help out a

friend who had a 'problem dog', after doing some more private 'dog experiments' on his own. So Guus is pretty confident to be able to help people managing their dogs better, whether they have real problems or just want to do better.

I will be in Manila for a short break from October 31 to November 4.

From my previous visits I noticed there is a lot of demand for my services as a 'dog behaviorist' and I would love to be of service to people in Manila again, even though this is basically a private trip.

I can offer a special rate of PHP 2,000.00 plus PHP 500.00 transportation allowance as I just enjoy doing my 'dog thing' in Manila.

As my sessions are personalized I can't tell the exact duration beforehand. Normally it's about half a day.

Are you having problems with your dog's behavior? Is your dog not listening to your commands? Then you may benefit from a dog obedience training session.

Training site: your place.
Date and time: a private training can be scheduled any time and mostly lasts 2-3 hours.
A training session can be for any number of dogs, family members and/or other dogs and dog owners.

Requirements:
- I suggest dogs to be at least 12 weeks old.
- Dogs need to be vaccinated with anti-rabies.
- Please make sure your dog(s) have a collar and leash.
- If biting issues please make sure you have a toy.
- Owner(s)/handler(s) need to be present during the session.

My professional fee within the wider CdO area is normally between PHP 1,200.00 and PHP 2,200.00 per session. I prefer to propose a fee at the end of a session as I don't know beforehand how a session will go.

I am considering making another trip to Manila for dog obedience training clients, probably the period Thursday January 18, 2024 to Monday January 29, 2024.

Please let me know if you are interested having a dog obedience training with me. It normally only takes half a day to teach basic obedience.

Iwa, the Mini Pinscher in the profile picture, my Mini Pinscher, is no more. She had many ailments already for years, but recovered always, until a few days ago. The last weeks she got weaker and weaker and finally refused to eat, but as she still looked kind of okay and was still able to walk outside I decided to just let nature take it's course. Until Saturday during the night, when she was very restless and not okay anymore, finally making me decide Sunday early morning I had to let her go. She died in peace at the vet.

I miss my Rottweilers. The breed is so sweet. And yes, I guess they can kill. But being properly trained things like that are very unlikely.

Our Story

For quite a while I have been training client dogs now so they behave and listen better. I was and am an admirer of the work and the ideas of Cesar Millan and he is sample of what I am doing now: help people with managing their dogs and rehabilitating dogs that are considered problem dogs. And yes, this text needed needed to be changed, as I am not the kind of inexperienced follower of Cesar Millan anymore, but am running my own dog training business now, still based on the ideas of Cesar Millan, but in my own way. And I never considered myself a dog whisperer, but recently I realized most dogs listen pretty fast to me, so maybe I am also a dog whisperer now.
