RJ was never a cat person. So, when a friend asked if he would be willing to care for a kitten, he started learning how to take care of them by reading books about cats and joining cat community groups. Eventually, the idea didn't push through, but he already fell in love with their weird habits and silly quirks. Finally, he became so invested that he brought home his first kitty in 2014 and became an ardent cat dad to Aoki, a docile but playful, ginger female Scottish Fold. But as they say, you can never have too many cats. So now, RJ gives daily boops to six cats in his home, all fixed, each with their personalities. When the pandemic started in 2020, RJ found himself buying cat supplies in bulk and stocking them in his small apartment. What began as a means to guarantee that his cats won't get hungry soon became an incredible, many-layered online enterprise. Boop & Pounce - The Cat and Kitten Shop. Manila's first pet supplies store exclusively for felines, Boop & Pounce partners with pawsome brands that cats love.
