Uroliths, calculi, mga batong struvite na nakuha sa pantog/urinary bladder ng isang babaeng dachshund.

Nabubuo ang mga ito kapag nag volt-in na ang mga crystals sa ihi. Ang mga crystals na ito ay nabubuo mula sa mga minerals o iba pang elemento na matatagpuan sa kanilang pagkain o inumin.

Iba’t-ibang klase ng bato ang nabubuo depende sa klase ng minerals na matatagpuan sa kinakain o iniinom ng ating mga alaga. Umaabot ng ilang linggo o ilang buwan ang pagbubuo ng isang bato. Nagsisimila sa maliit at unti-unting lumalaki habang patuloy na nadididkitan ng ibang crystal ang ibabaw nito. May mga batong nabubuo din ibang bahagi ng urinary sytem gaya ng bato/kidney at sa daluyan ng ihi/urethra.

Madalas na hindi nakikitaan ng sintomas ang mga alaga nating may mga maliliit pang bato sa pantog. Mapapansin na lang natin na may dugo sa ihi ng alaga natin at madalas ay hirap nang umihi o natatagalan sa pag-ihi. Dalhin kaagad sa pinakamalapit na veterinary clinic ang inyong mga alaga na nakikitaan ng mga sintomas na ito.

Dogs are part of our family. We love them but it does not have to mean to love everything on them, especially parasites, particularly the ticks.

Ticks are annoying and harmful to our pets. They could carry pathogens such Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Babesia or Hepatozoon which could be potentially harmful and fatal to our beloved canines.

Anemia, low platelet counts, paleness, vomiting, nose-bleeding, bloody stool, paralysis, kidney disorder and liver problems are among the may signs we see in our dogs diagnosed with tick-borne pathogens.
