But don’t worry, even though our grooming area is currently under renovation, we have a secure place on the second floor where we can still do our regular spa treatments. This way, we avoid the paint smells and stay away from the construction. ☝🏻👷🔧🔨

Hey there, FURRY FRIENDS! Just a heads up, the shop’s still open for grooming, even with all the renovation buzz downstairs. We’ve moved the grooming area up to the second floor for now—it’s all enclosed and fully air-conditioned, so you can relax and pamper yourselves safely. Everything’s running as usual, so come on by whenever you’re ready.

CHICKS ARE NOT EASTER TOYS, GIVEAWAYS OR PROPS

And no, colorful chicks do not hatch from colorful Easter eggs: they’re sprayed with dye, which can be stressful for them. This Easter, refrain from supporting establishments that give away live animals.

1. Leave a comment on the social media pages of those establishments who still give away or raffle live animals. Tell them that it isn’t animal welfare friendly because there should be ample preparation for families who are about to take in a chicken.
[Yes, these chicks do not remain small, yellow and fluffy for life - they grow into chickens who need to be able to roam, scratch, peck and stretch their wings. Before taking in a chicken, please find out if you have an avian or poultry vet to run to so that they can be properly treated when kept as pets. These are matters that that may not have crossed the minds of those passing through a mall, hotel or an events place for Easter. =( ]

2. Call or e-mail BAI-Animal Health & Welfare Division to ask if these establishments have permits for thes e live animal giveaways, as well as permits of the suppliers of these animals. Those without permits are automatically violating the Animal Welfare Act
