Your dog may be exposed to many diseases during its lifetime. Many are preventable, while others may be treated or controlled. Your veterinarian can recommend safe, effective vaccines that will keep your pet healthy, happy and free of many infectious diseases.

POTENTIAL THREATS TO YOUR DOG’S HEALTH

RABIES is a fatal viral disease that can affect all warm-blooded animals including dogs, cats and humans.

CANINE DISTEMPER is a potentially fatal viral disease in dogs. The virus attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous system.

CANINE PARVOVIRUS is a highly contagious virus that causes gastrointestinal tract disease in young, unvaccinated dogs. Presenting signs include anorexia, lethargy, vomiting, and diarrhea .

HEPATITIS (CAV-1) is a virus that can damage the pet’s liver, kidney, spleen and lungs. Puppies are most likely to die from infection than adult dogs.

CANINE PARAINFLUENZA VIRUS causes chronic respiratory disease. The disease is spread through the cough of infected dogs.

BORDATELLA BRONCHISEPTICA is the most common bacteria contributing to respiratory disease complex or “kennel cough” in dogs.

LEPTOSPIROSIS is caused by a bacteria that can permanently damage your pet’s internal organs. Other dogs and even humans can become ill after contact with dog’s urine.

Kabang was a stray puppy that was adopted by Rudy Bunggal. In December 2011, Bunggal's 9-year-old daughter Dina and a 3-year-old cousin, Princess Diansing, attempted to cross a busy street in the path of a motorcycle. Seeing the danger, Kabang jumped at the motorcycle, knocking it over. According to eyewitnesses, the girls did not see the motorcycle coming and would have been seriously injured if not for Kabang. The motorcycle driver and the children suffered only minor bruises from the accident. Kabang, however, got caught in the front wheel of the motorcycle. "The bones holding her upper snout were crushed, and we could not do anything to save it", said Bunggal. "We just pulled her off the wheel."

It has recently come to our attention that there are persons practicing veterinary medicine illegally here in CarCanMadCarLan. Various clients have presented their pet/s to us in various detrimental conditions due to home-remedies and other harmful supposed cures to the illness of the patient, along with this are cases of vaccine administration without the name and license of the administering veterinarian. Most of the incidences end up with the life of the pet forfeited or worse debilitated for life. Do take note that this is punishable by law!

To our dear fur moms and dads, we highly encourage you to only put your trust and the lives of your beloved pets to those who are legally qualified to take care of them.

How to Keep Your Dog Calm During Fireworks.

1. Keep your dog away from Fireworks. Do not take your pets to fireworks show, and don't leave them outside the house during fireworks.

2. Create a Safe Haven For Your Dog.
Get your pet used to a calming environment beforehand. Set up an area in a quiet space away from windows.

3. Comfort your dog.
Remain calm and use a soothing voice to assure them everything is ok while petting them.

4.Desensitize your Dog to the sounds of Fireworks.
If you think your pet will freak out at the sound of fireworks, try playing loud sounds softly, so your pets is used to hearing them.

Let's keep our dogs safe this holiday season and let them feel the Christmas Spirit too!
