To all who pre-registered furrparents in their respective barangays for the upcoming free spay and neuter on July 5, 2024. You may now proceed in the office for the pre-screening of your pets starting today, June 28, 2024 until July 4, 2024 (weekdays only), of course dont forget to bring your pets with you.

ATTENTION TO ALL CARCARANONS!!!

The City of Carcar will be celebrating it's 17th Charter Day on July 7, 2024. Part of the week-long celebration, the City Veterinary Office will be offering "FREE VETERINARY SERVICES' this coming July 5, 2024, Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at City Hall Ground, New Carcar City Center, Pob III, Carcar City, Cebu. This is a first come, first serve basis except for SPAY (Laygit) and NEUTER (Kapon) wherein you need to pre-register your pets 1st at your respective brgy, then the brgy will submit the lists in our office for the pre-screening of pets prior to the schedule of surgery.

*NOTE: Maximum of 3 pets per owner, aging not less that 6 months.
: Lists from the brgy will be collected on or before Monday, June 24, 2024.

The City of Carcar thru the City Veterinary Office is actively participating in the "Rabies Awareness Month Celebration"by having activities that include: Information Education Campaign (IEC) regarding Rabies and Responsible Pet Ownership as stipulated in R.A 9482 and massive anti-rabies vaccination to pets to all barangays in the locality.
Last March 15, 2024, Friday, Bry. Perrelos was the 8th barangay being served with a total of 248 dogs and 28 cats vaccinated against rabies.

The City of Carcar thru the City Veterinary Office is actively participating in the "Rabies Awareness Month Celebration"by having activities that include: Information Education Campaign (IEC) regarding Rabies and Responsible Pet Ownership as stipulated in R.A 9482 and massive anti-rabies vaccination to pets to all barangays in the locality.
Last March 14, 2024, Thursday, Bry. Valencia was the 7th barangay being served with a total of 251 dogs and 15 cats vaccinated against rabies.

Last March 12, 2024, Tuesday, Bry. Liburon was the 6th barangay being served with a total of 252 dogs and 42 cats vaccinated against rabies.

Yesterday, Bry. Guadalupe was the 5th barangay being served with a total of 124 dogs and 21 cats vaccinated against rabies.

Last Friday, Bry. Poblacion I was the 3rd barangay being served with a total of 89 dogs and 30 cats vaccinated against rabies.

Yesterday Bry. Valladolid was the 2nd barangay being served with a total of 163 dogs and 24 cats vaccinated against rabies.

To all furparents who wish to avail our free spay (laygit) and neuter (kapon) on April 4, 2024, please secure a slot by pre-registering your pets in the office anytime on weekdays. Please bring your pets with you for the physical assessment.

For the guidelines:
1. Furparent must be a resident of Carcar City.
2. We will cater Aspin (a*ong pinoy), Puspin (pusang pinoy). For MIX and with BREED pets we require CBC test prior to surgery.
3. For KAPON: atleast 6 months old but not more than 10 years old.
4. For LAYGIT: atleast 6 months old but not more than 5 years old. In-heat and pregnant pets will not be catered.
5. Maximum of 3 pets per owner.

Commemorating 30 years of awareness, 51 years of dedicated service.
