Once again, the Provincial Veterinary Office of Northern Samar will be having a Pet Day with Doggy Fun Run on May 26, 2024 at the PGNS Covered Court as part of the Ibabao Festival 2024 Celebration.

Please be guided by the protocols for those who will avail the following services and will join the activity:

• 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐕𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐄𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 | Pets must be apparently healthy.

• 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 (𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐍) | Pets must be apparently healthy and fast for at least 8 hours.

• 𝐃𝐎𝐆 𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐑𝐔𝐍 | Dogs must be apparently healthy and have updated Rabies vaccine, 5in1/6in1 vaccine, deworming and tick & flea prevention.

A case of Generalized Canine Demodecosis. 🐶

Demodecosis is a common skin disease in canine practice, it occurs when a large number of Demodex mites inhabit hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Common clinical signs appears with mild to severe redness, hair loss, itching, and scaling.
