MARO needs help from you!
We got the problem with neighbors who filed a petition against us for noise and foul odor. We had an inspection and meeting at City Health and 15 days to next inspection according to do enhancements then again 15 days for more changes.
We are communicating and updating City Health, visit for reporting our updates. While we did and do some enhancements to the waste water management we urgently need to find loving homes for the dogs. An attorney helping us get approval for a land in Kalunasan from the government but its very slow we didnt see it yet it probably needs building a fence, septic tank, a hut and roofs, etc. another challenge financially and we need staff and infrastructure there to cook etc. We already hire 6 helpers in existing rescue center and struggle with their reliability often absent or quit because of family demand, school, or now one found a job as call center agent. It needs a driver for supplies and between the two locations Dan is the only one for now.
We are almost permantly understaffed and some of us work up to 20 hrs a day 7 days a week. Even all our posting and volunteers helping with photographs, graphic design flyers, sharing in pet related fb groups, etc. we can't get adoptions we try for months and months puppies grew up and are adults now no one wants due to lack of adoption events during quarantine. We used to give up to 40 puppies a month to our fellow rescuer Imanuel for his adoption events in malls before pandemic. We had 32 rescued dogs before pandemic. People drop their unwanted animals at our premises or at the garbage dump nearby.
Everything get out of ballance.
