3 months worth of time and effort destroyed in just one night... Not all were saved but the Lord always gives us hope. This morning I found my ready to compost soil budding with seedlings that weren't able to germinate last time. Somehow telling me not to give up and get up and work with these hands again. See you in the next harvest. God bless us.

Farm update

- Arugula Seedlings finally growing steadily
- Basil and Mint in our Aquaponic system getting lusher than before.
- Australian redclaw Crayfish in our aquaponic system are molting leaving behind their carapace meaning they are undergoing another growth stage.
- A number of new guppies are contributing in our aquaponic setup
- Some of our Cherry tomatoes are in their flowering stages.
- Lettuces growing steadily because of the tolerable temperatures.
- Sweet Peppers and Marigold seedlings sprouting.
- Bonus:
Some of my personal Black Beauty Eggplants are about to be ready for harvest.
My phalaenopsis seems to be very happy growing in tree trunks.

Sunday morning harvest.

Funfact: Did you know Sweet Basil is the first plant Weekend Growers tried to produce using Hydroponics and now also using Aquaponic method.

Aquaponics is a food production system that couples aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as fish, crayfish, snails or prawns in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) whereby the nutrient-rich aquaculture water is fed to hydroponically grown plants.
