This is a heartworm larva found using direct blood smear. This is from one of our patients diagnosed with Heartworm Disease. Treatment is long, expensive and risky. But, this can be prevented. Talk to your Veterinarian about Heartworm Prevention.

Four (4) healthy Chihuahua pups delivered through Cesarean section last night. These puppies are definitely big which made it hard to deliver normally especially for their first time mom, Dior. Thank you maam Jinju Diorybell for trusting our service. ⭐ A cesarean section is a major surgery performed to remove puppies from the uterus. This is most commonly performed as an emergency procedure when there is a difficulty in natural birth. If your dog already has contractions for two hours, straining and pushing but without puppy presentation, you should seek veterinary assistance as the puppies may die alongside the mom. An update on our Cesarian Section Puppies. Mommy Azami had difficulty pushing out the 1st puppy due to its big size. Sir Gideon Colonia wasted no time and rushed Azami to Companion Animal Clinic for an emergency C section. All 5 puppies survived, a good decision on the part of the owner. These beautiful puppies are indeed bigger than most Siberian Husky puppies, sired by Lobo the import Agouti stud of Catmon Wolves Kennel. For those interested, some of these are still available.
