✨ A Story of Courage and Healing 👁️❤️

Late one evening, a brave furry friend was brought to our clinic in urgent need of care. He had suffered a traumatic injury to his eye, causing severe pain and distress. 💔

Upon examination, we found that the eye had sustained irreversible damage that lead to inflammation (hypopyon), making it no longer viable. To relieve their pain and give them the best chance at a comfortable life, our team recommended surgery. 🩺💉

Our skilled surgeon performed a Unilateral Enucleation (removal of one eye)—a procedure that may sound daunting but was essential for their recovery. The surgery was successful, and this courageous patient is now on the road to healing. 🏥✨

He will be heading home with a customized care plan, including medications and management tips, to ensure a smooth and speedy recovery. Despite losing an eye, we know he will adapt beautifully and continue to live a happy, fulfilling life. 🐾❤️

This case reminds us of the resilience of animals and the importance of timely care. Let’s all send love and well-wishes for his recovery! 💌🐶🐱

Retained testicles (testicles that stay inside the abdomen or groin) are much more likely to develop cancer than normal testicles.

A retained testicle can twist on itself, causing severe pain and cutting off blood flow. This is a life-threatening emergency.

Dogs with retained testicles may show behaviors like aggression, marking their territory, or mounting because they still produce male hormones.

Dogs with this condition shouldn’t be bred, as they can pass the problem on to their puppies.
