✨ A Story of Courage and Healing 👁️❤️

Late one evening, a brave furry friend was brought to our clinic in urgent need of care. He had suffered a traumatic injury to his eye, causing severe pain and distress. 💔

Upon examination, we found that the eye had sustained irreversible damage that lead to inflammation (hypopyon), making it no longer viable. To relieve their pain and give them the best chance at a comfortable life, our team recommended surgery. 🩺💉

Our skilled surgeon performed a Unilateral Enucleation (removal of one eye)—a procedure that may sound daunting but was essential for their recovery. The surgery was successful, and this courageous patient is now on the road to healing. 🏥✨

He will be heading home with a customized care plan, including medications and management tips, to ensure a smooth and speedy recovery. Despite losing an eye, we know he will adapt beautifully and continue to live a happy, fulfilling life. 🐾❤️

Today, we encountered a serious case of open-type pyometra, a dangerous uterine infection that, if left untreated, can be life-threatening for our furry friends. After a thorough physical examination and honest history taken from her attentive owners, we identified the signs early on.

To confirm, we performed a complete blood count (CBC) and ultrasound, which showed just how urgently surgery was needed. Thankfully, her family made the brave choice to go forward with the life-saving procedure right away.
