I just want to inform everyone that we are now officially full! In my childhood, our teachers in school already informed us that we're already facing climate change but we are not that very aggressive in mitigating it. Then approx. 7 years ago, I learned that we only have less than 10 years to reverse climate change. I've read a lot of articles how fast the snow caps were melting and worsening natural disasters and that motivated me to at least try to help mother Earth and tried to disseminate some tree seeds but I noticed that a lot of people were not interested. Hence, I realized that why don't we begin at Kisses Garden's Nook and forest it?
And that's what I we did. With the effort of our family, we planted some flowering and fruit trees. Though some of our trees were cut down due to some government projects but we are hanging onto our goal. Hopefully, a lot of people will be enlightened and inspired to plant more trees (we are now facing global boiling, not just global warming!) so that we can help not only our ailing mother Earth, but also to ourselves, our family and to the future generations to come.
PS. I hope some of you will allot even just a little bit of space for a tree/tall shrub in your yard/garden/lot. Don't think that it's a waste time/space. Don't you notice that we are now facing that problem because of that mentality? I hope you will use this as a "push" to plant tree/s.
PPS. Though not all of our trees are native in the Philippines (highly recommended for planting trees since they're already well acclimated to our land, climate, etc.) but at least we planted some, to help in the biodiversity. I didn't include them in the video because they are still "babies". So I just showcased our trees/plants that are flowering/bearing fruits.☺️
