Pyometra, is a serious health condition and life threatening to your pets. Their uterus is filled with pus, this occurs in unspayed female dogs typically 2-8 weeks after a heat cycle.
If left untreated this can lead to severe illness, kidney failure and death.
Prevention?
Spaying, is the most effective way to prevent pyometra if you do not have a plan to breed them.
This is much cheaper and will prolong the lifespan of your furry friend.
