When Riley was brought to our clinic, he was severely emaciated, had a loss of appetite, and was suffering from nasal and ocular discharge, along with a heavy infestation of ticks. After running comprehensive blood tests, our team diagnosed Riley with Canine Ehrlichiosis—a serious tick-borne disease that can affect a dog’s immune system.

Thanks to the diligent care and dedicated treatment provided by our Vet Co. team, Riley was hospitalized for a few days, receiving the necessary fluids and medication to help him recover. We’re thrilled to share that Riley is now on the mend and has been discharged, on his way to full health.

Canine Ehrlichiosis can present with clinical signs such as fever, lethargy, bleeding and loss of appetite, but with early detection and proper care, our clinic is here to make sure your pets get back to their happy, healthy selves. We’re grateful to Riley’s family for trusting us with his care and are committed to supporting all pet parents in keeping their furry companions safe.
