While minor tangles may be resolved by brushing or combing, excessive matting must be carefully removed with electric clippers and scissors. Attempting to brush excessive matting is painful and harmful to the animal's overall wellbeing, skin, and coat.

📍Tips on how to clip your dogs nail ;

If your dog has light-colored nails, you should be able to see the quick within the nail. Your goal is to cut approximately 2-3 mm away from the quick, to avoid causing your dog pain. If your dog has dark nails, you may not be able to see the quick. In this case, trim just the very tip off of the nail. 🐾

📍What happens if you leave a dog matted?

Matting creates a breeding ground for bacteria, infections, parasites, hot spots, skin lesions and tears.

So, it is advise to brush your pets fur atleast every other day and don't forget to take your pets for their maintenance grooming session. ✂️❤️
