With summer already here, it's important for pet owners to be aware of the signs and symptoms of heat stroke in dogs. If left untreated, heat stroke can quickly progress and become more severe, leading to death. The early signs of heat stroke in dogs may include some or all of the following symptoms:

- High body temperature
- Restlessness or agitation
- Excessive panting or difficulty breathing
- Drooling, often with thick saliva

If you notice any of these symptoms in your dog, it's important to take immediate action to cool them down and seek veterinary care as soon as possible!

Parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening virus for dogs that attacks their gastrointestinal tract. Lethargy, vomiting, loss of appetite, or bloody diarrhea are typical symptoms. The virus is spread through contact with contaminated f***s, infected soils, or surfaces, which can happen when a dog comes into contact with contaminated objects, food, or other dogs or animals.

Puppies and young dogs are at a higher risk of infection because they have not completed their vaccinations, or have not yet developed the immunity to fight against the virus. In severe situations, shock, systemic infection, or even death may occur. The good news is that it is preventable through vaccination.

Pet owners should ensure that their dogs receive the latest vaccines, avoid contact with sick dogs and contaminated environments, wash hands after handling dogs, and clean and disinfect areas that may have been contaminated.

𝘊𝘺𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘮𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘴 may seem like an unpronounceable tongue twister, but it's a type of yeast that may be found in our pooch's digestive system. Most of the time, it's harmless. However, in some circumstances, it could wreak havoc. It has been implicated to be a possible opportunistic disease-causing organism, with chronic diarrhea as the primary clinical sign.

Keep an eye out and get regular vet check-ups to maintain your dog's gut health.
