Haku, a 3-year-old cat who was rushed to our clinic for an urgent cesarean section. One of her kittens was stuck horizontally in the birth canal, requiring immediate attention. Haku started laboring 12midnight.

Our team performed the emergency cesarean section to ensure Haku's safety and the well-being of her kittens. We're thrilled to report that 3 out of 4 kittens survived, unfortunately, the stuck kitten didn't make it.

We recently had the pleasure of caring for Sofie, a sweet dog who came in with a vaginal prolapse. After a thorough examination, Doc Lester successfully performed the procedure to correct the prolapse, and we’re happy to report that Sofie is recovering well!

During her visit, we also discussed the option of spaying her to prevent future health concerns, and Sofie's owner agreed to move forward with the procedure. Spaying will not only help with her overall health but also reduce the risk of future reproductive issues.

We're so grateful to be part of Sofie's care journey and are confident that she'll be feeling much better soon. Thank you to Sofie's owner for trusting us with her care!

Variety is Key: Cats can be finicky about flavors and textures. Experiment with different types of food—canned, dry, or raw—to find what your cat prefers.

Temperature Matters: Many cats prefer their food at room temperature. Try warming up wet food slightly to enhance its aroma and appeal.

Create a Calm Eating Environment: Minimize distractions and noise during mealtime. A quiet, cozy spot can help your cat feel more comfortable.

Scheduled Feeding: Establish regular feeding times. This routine can help your cat feel more secure and encourage them to eat.

Limit Treats: If your cat is snacking on treats throughout the day, they might not feel hungry at mealtime. Limit treats to encourage appetite.

Here’s Anoebies and Cerberus, our brave rescued puppies and Canine Parvo Disease survivors. Anoebies and Cerberus were rushed to our clinic from Catalunan Grande due to inappetence and vomiting. Anoebies and Cerberus were confined last May 27, 2024 and are now on their way to recovery. 🐶❣️ Canine parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral disease of dogs that commonly causes acute gastrointestinal illness in puppies. The disease most often strikes in pups between six and 20 weeks old, but older animals are sometimes also affected. Symptoms often associated with CPV include lethargy, depression, and loss or lack of appetite, followed by a sudden onset of high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. If your dog is experiencing bouts of bloody diarrhea and/or vomiting, CPV is only one of several potential culprits. Your veterinarian can run several tests to help determine whether your dog is infected with CPV. A hospital stay is often necessary so that the dog can receive intravenous fluids and nutrients to replace the vast quantities lost via vomiting and diarrhea. An intravenous drip is preferred because the digestive tract of stricken dogs is usually in distress and can’t tolerate or absorb what the dog needs.
