Una, an adult Shih Tzu underwent cherry eye repair 🍒👀

The third eyelid gland is normally anchored to the lower inner rim of the eye. This attachment is thought to be weak in certain dog breeds, allowing the gland to prolapse easily. It is essential to treat the condition as soon as possible to minimize permanent damage to the eye or third eyelid gland.

AI (ShihTzu) and DQ (American Bully) were brought to the clinic for emergency surgery because of difficulty in giving birth or also called dystocia.
