Our Christmas puppies. 🎄🐶

Choco had minimal signs of labor, but her furparents decided to bring her in for check up. Surprisingly, her puppies were already in distress. We examined them through measuring their heart rate via ultrasound. We had to do CS right away. We were able to save her and her four puppies 🙏 🫶

Their home is definitely going to be busy over the holidays 😅♥️

Our adorable surgical patient today:

Una, an adult Shih Tzu underwent cherry eye repair 🍒👀

The third eyelid gland is normally anchored to the lower inner rim of the eye. This attachment is thought to be weak in certain dog breeds, allowing the gland to prolapse easily. It is essential to treat the condition as soon as possible to minimize permanent damage to the eye or third eyelid gland.
