Brindle was named given to a 6-year-old, female American Bully.
She was brought to the clinic for complaints of no appetite and blood discharge.
The laboratory procedures such as; routine blood work, radiography, and sonography were performed; and recommended for immediate surgery.
She was diagnosed with pyometra.
These are the pictures of Brindle in the clinic for her ongoing recovery.

What is Pyometra?
Pyometra is a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus. It is caused by hormonal changes in the body that fill the uterus with bacteria and pus. It requires immediate medical attention. Dogs with a pyometra have vaginal discharge (open-type) or without discharge (closed pyometra) and they feel very sick with a poor appetite, lethargy, vomiting, and sometimes increased thirst or urination.

Pyometra is a medical emergency that needs immediate treatment. Bring your pet to your Veterinarian as soon as you notice any symptoms or behavioral changes. Early diagnosis lowers the risks of complications.

HEART❤️WORM DISEASE!

Watch Out for your fur pets before it's too late.

"Lukie", a 1-year-old, male, Siberian Husky was brought to the clinic for complaints of vomiting once in a while after eating but no other serious concerns were presented.
Dra. Pluma advises Lukie's fur mom for laboratory work. The result showed elevated eosinophil and comprehensive results were normal. However, the heartworm antigen test was positive and, advised for treatment.
Lukie was treated by Dr. Pluma at Bajada branch where he was admitted.

5 days later;
It's the happiest day for Lukie when his fur mom fetches him after the treatment .🐶💖

Love and compassion for our precious little creature drives Pluma Veterinary Clinic to share blessings with the Dog Shelter in Davao City.

It's a rainy Sunday morning when Dr and Dra. Pluma and the staff decided to hand over the food to the shelter through their caretakers.

We appreciate the kindest act of some people who passionately care for the animals despite some individuals who abandoned and maltreated this creature.

PEPPER's Journey to the Road of Recovery!💖🥳

A 3-year-old, female, french bulldog was rushed to the clinic for an emergency last January 14, 2024, for sudden weakness of the hindlimb and blood in the urine. Thorough examinations and laboratory work were performed. Pepper was diagnosed with IVDD.
He was under therapy in the clinic under the medical care of Dr. Pluma. Rehabilitation, laser, acupuncture, and in conjunction with therapeutic therapy.
After 2 months of perseverance and dedication from Dr. Pluma and the team, Pepper finally went home on March 25, 2024, to his fur family with a big smile.
