Such a rewarding and meaningful event I have attended! It's incredible to see so many people come together to support such an important cause. The atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm and positivity, especially with representatives from local government, private sectors, and pet guardians all joining forces.

It's heartening to hear about the progress Davao has made in terms of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. Events like these not only educate but also inspire communities to take action and care for animals in need. Seeing this level of awareness and engagement shows just how much people care about the well-being of animals in their city.

Personally, I find events like the Animal Awareness and Pet Ownership event incredibly inspiring. They highlight the compassion and dedication of the community towards our furry friends. It's a reminder that even small steps towards better animal welfare can make a big difference in the lives of so many creatures. I'm glad to hear that Davao is evolving into a place where animals are truly valued and protected.

It's true that change takes time, but with each event and each person who becomes more aware and involved, the city moves closer to being a true haven for animals. I hope that events like these continue to grow and flourish, spreading awareness and encouraging even more positive change in the future. Kudos to Pet Avenue JCI Lakambini Davao SM Lanang and other organizers for making this event a success!

Hey everyone,

I'm really excited to be attending this upcoming event to show my support for dog guardians with a huge heart for Aspins. If anyone is thinking about adopting a rescued dog, I want to offer something special. As a way of giving back to our local community and those who give abandoned and rescued dogs new hope and a new life, I'll be providing free behavior and training consultations to a limited number of adoptees.

TRAINING TIP THURSDAY

One of the basics are when training dogs with positive reinforcement, we offer something the dog wants in exchange for correct responses.

While other reinforcers such as play, toys, access to places, attention or praise can all be used to reinforce behavior, food is a primary reinforcer (the dog doesn't have to be taught to like it), it is easy to deliver - no negative consequences to the dog and pretty simple to change to the value dog's preferences. 🐾

Your ability to recognize and interpret your dog's social behaviors allows you and your dog to communicate effectively. Being able to understand the behavior of your dog helps you to navigate social situations, and build positive relationships with your companion dog. 🐾

4. Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times. Bringing dogs with a history of aggression toward other dogs and humans is highly discouraged.
