Socializing and Caping anxiety
This dog has separation anxiety, and was not properly socialized. His new owners want him to walk well and be better with other animals. He’s already playing with other dogs and these calm, controlled walks are where it’s at! After he’s blocked from acting in anxiety he can calm down, think, and make sense of new places with new understanding. After this walk he was able to stay outside alone without scratching my door. 🫶🏼
Reactive Rottie
Loose leash walking for a reactive Rottweiler. Sometimes the goal is simply for the dog to not respond to stimulus in the environment, before she was lunging, now she knows I will handle the dogs. It’s not her job. 🫶🏼

Cersie Rescued by DAS
Cersie is a German Shepard, she is highly trainable and loves to be with people. She will be looking for a home soon. Cersie has been fully crate trained and O.B. trained with us, and needs a firm but calm handle. Walks and exercise are important for Shepherds. She’s incredibly sweet, and loves people. Other dogs that match her playful spunky energy will be a good match for Cersie. Perhaps another Shepherd.

Behavioral Conditioning and Teaching Friza
Lilly was supposed to be obedience trained with a previous trainer. They unfortunately went behind the owner’s (Friza’s) back and tied Lilly to a post, agitating her until she exploded with aggression. This is a good way to ruin a Doberman. Lilly now has a tiny threshold to cope with fear, especially because her temperament isn’t suited for protection. The result is a very unpredictable dangerous dog. I let Lilly think and learn to trust me rather than applying force in this case. This is fixable with a bit of work and dedication.
Friza was adamant that she wanted to work her dog. Our job as trainers is to teach owners and build confidence in handling. Much respect to Friza and the progress made in just two sessions. ❤️💪🏼

Small Dogs Can Work
Coco has a serious obsession with killing the TV and light reflections. While we correct her to remove some negative behavior we also add an activity so she can use her nose. In our homes, the ancestral wolf still exists. Dogs still need to use their natural instincts to create balance. ❤️
