The Red Spotted Severum is a color variant of the Gold Severum, where they are selectively bred to augment the red coloration present on the fish. All color variants of Severum are very popular as they are one of the few larger and peaceful cichlids in the hobby and generally do not bother their tank mates. Red Spotted Severums are native to lakes and tributaries of the Amazon Basin in South America.

The Tiger Shovelnose Catfish, which is also known as the Tiger Catfish, is from the rivers and tributaries of South America. It is a large catfish that can attain a length of over 3 feet in captivity. The body of this cat is long and slender and has a beautiful silver coloration. Black stripes and spots cover the entire body, giving this fish a tiger-like appearance. The mouth is adorned with very long whiskers, and is long and flat in shape.

The clown featherback, clown knifefish, or spotted knifefish, Chitala ornata, is a nocturnal tropical fish with a long, knife-like body. This knifefish is native to freshwater habitats in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The clown knifefish is very distinct, with normally silvery gray with a long, knife-like body (laterally compressed) and a long anal fin that gives it its common name. Mature fish normally have five to 10 (or even more) black spots ringed with white that usually decrease in size as the fish grows.

Pearl Arowanas can be silver with black fins (most common), to a yellow or coppery gold colour with pearly scales edged in pink. The long body is laterally compressed, with a large upturned mouth, big scales and barbels on the lower lip. S. jardini has a few, large, yellow, orange or red spots on each of its fins and commonly shows a pattern of lines and or dots on and bordering its gill plate.
