Hello, Everyone! 🐾

We’re here to provide a transparent update on our finances and share where we currently stand:

📊 Summary of Donations and Expenses (August - December 2024):

Total Donations: ₱170,708.27
Total Expenses: ₱276,296.90
Variance (Shortfall): (₱105,588.63)

How We Covered the Variance:

Personal salary contributions
Personal loans
Income generated from Purpaws Pet Supply Store

💔 Current Veterinary Account Balance from Pinetown Veterinary Clinic : ₱264,327.43

This significant balance explains why we’ve had to pause rescuing animals temporarily. Our immediate focus is clearing our veterinary bills and ensuring our current rescues are fed, healthy, and well-cared for.

For those who have not visited the shelter, our expenses are big because we are providing care for 117 dogs and 31 cats. Each one relies on us for food, shelter, medical care, and love.

Additional Steps We’ve Taken:
Our main rescuer, aside from running the Purpaws Pet Supply Store, has had to go back to a regular job because the store’s income is not enough to cover the overwhelming expenses. Despite this, we continue to give our all to keep the shelter running and our rescues cared for.
