Please be informed...

This is still the official sizes of poodles in Asia and Europe while there's 3 sizes in America.

So please don't be confused when breaders/sellers are posting micro teacup, nano teacup, teacup, tiny toy, giant poodle. They are not official sizes but just marketing strategies to make buyers interested with their pups.

Giant poodles are still "Standard Poodles" while teacups and tiny are still "Toys".

Furthermore, when a breeder or a vet says "Teacup" it means that the dog is the "RUNT" of the litter, meaning the smallest and the WEAKEST of the litter.

OR

It was purposely bred by pairing 2 "teacups" with only the size in mind and NOT THE HEALTH.

Teacups have often health issues, get sick easily, and requires more attention than regular toys because of their abnormally small size.

That is why teacups are AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED in conformation shows because they are NOT IDEAL size when breed standards are being promoted in the said dog shows.

So again, please be informed when looking for your future babies. Look for a reputable breeder that will be honest with you, educate you, and not fool you for the sake of their profit.

Teacups or runts may grow and hit the normal toy size but some may remain runts and this is speaking from experience. Not because the parents are small, means the offsprings will be small.

Remember there's no indication in their papers what sizes their parents are. So we cannot guarantee that everyone in the bloodlines are the same sizes.

Poodles of all sizes belong to one breed so it's very diffucult to determine if their ancestors are all toys and so on.

Research and asks questions to breaders, owners, and vets who has a lot of experience in the said breed. Not all vets are experts in all breeds, they focus on the animal's health and not breed standard.
