For two days, I have been in a panic state...
We were informed that one of our safe haven for animals needs to be evacuated in less than a month (24days)...
This home is housing 3 hoomans, 23 dogs and 9 cats.
It may look like a small problem compared to other AW issues that's circulating in the media right now...
But these 3 hoomans and 32 furbabies are my family... And I will do everything to make sure that they will have a roof over their heads.

I have found friends with golden hearts who are willing to lend us their farm lot rent free... (Thank you for the love, Trixie & Arvin ❤️)

We still need help to clean the area, build a small room for the hoomans, put up fences & enclosures for the safety of our extended family. We also need to apply for Meralco & PLDT as these hoomans work from home to sustain the furbabies' needs.
We are asking for any kind of help that you can share with us so we can make this move possible.
This sanctuary will also be our foster home for new rescues & Taal evacuees if needed.
We have approximately ₱10k now to use (saved from the Taal evacuation project fund raising).

We are so down... Making ends meet to sustain our rescues with ₱0 to small amounts of donations from supportive people...
So down that we cannot sleep thinking how we can build a safe place in less than a month for our family...
But we know we can bounce back... We just need a little support from you guys...

We Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome in accordance to the prevailing guidelines of the Bureau of Animal Industries (BAI).

We strive to educate responsible pet ownership and preach the animal welfare laws, while considering to respect the different views and perspectives of other individuals - may they be pet owners, rescuers or other animal welfare groups.

We believe that cooperation between other animal welfare advocates helps more lives, hence creating collaboration efforts with partner animal welfare organizations such as Strays Worth Saving - SWS.

We need urgent help‼

Given the ECQ alert posted as a My Day by Gov. Jonvic, we need urgent help po for the supplies of our rescued cats and dogs.

Our house is a home to a combined number of 44 cats & dogs in Preslee's Home plus the 30 cats & dogs of our neighbor Boomer's Place, both with kittens and puppies, rescued patients and seniors who have special needs as well.

We are in immediate need of the following:
• Dog food (canned & dry)
• Wet food (canned & dry)
• Sawdust & sacks of rice (for dogs who do not eat DF)
• Kitten Milk Replacements

It's best for us to prepare for the worst, para hindi po sila mahirapan habang nagdadaan sa pandemic gaya nung nakaraang taon.

Ang kalusugan ng lahat, hindi lang ng mga pusa at a*o, kundi pati rin ng mga hoomans, including ourselves, ay ang aming priority.

With the GCQ announcements made across Metro Manila, Cavite and other nearby provinces, nakapag decision po ang CAWAG Shelters to postpone the event until the GCQ is lifted or mas lumuwag ang ating guidelines.

Para po sa mga nakapag register na, please hang on to your confirmation emails (check SPAM, Promotions, Social and other folders of your inbox for the copy). Ito pa rin po ang susundin natin na requirement to be presented once we have new dates set for the event.

Keep following the CAWAG Shelter's pages for announcements & updates on when the event will be rescheduled.

For now, unahin po natin na siguraduhin ang ating health and safety para maiwasan ang sakit, lalo na ang Covid. Kailangan natin ingatan ang ating sarili para sa ating pamilya at mga alaga.

What are the Requirements for Kapon Caviteño? 📃
1. Pets should be 100% healthy
2. It's best if your pet's vaccine is up to date, but if not, you can have your pets vaccinated on the same day
3. For pets below 3 years old, CBC is recommended but not required. For pets 4 years old and up, CBC / Platelet with blood test is required at least 2 days before the event
4. Pets should be fasted for 8 to 10 hours
5. An exact sized and secure pet cage is strictly required

What are the age requirements for pets? 📅
Female Cats - at least 4 months
Male Cats - at least 5-6 months or as long as testicles are already descended (nakakapa na po ang 2 balls nila)
Dogs - at least 6-8 months

Ang Kapon Caviteno ay iba sa pasabay kapon ng Preslee's Home at The Kabarkadogs.

Last seen: sa area ng Bonsai, Sampaloc 3 along Governors Drive heading towards GMA

Naka labas si Tiger sa bahay kahit na sarado ang pintuan. Sinira nya ang wire ng wood pallet baby gate at binaklas ang isang plank ng kahoy para mapagkasya ang sarili nya. He was able to find his way sa room na mei fire exit at dun dumaan palabas 😔

Mabait po si Tiger, madali din sya mapaamo. Please give him water & food para magstay sya sa inyo.

Sa mga nakakita, nakapansin or makakakita sa kanya please let us know ASAP para masundo namin sya sa inyo agad.

Nakapag ikot na kami mula 8am until this afternoon, sa mga lugar na pwede nya puntahan pero sa laki ng lugar mahihirapan kami.
