Ako po si Whitey na rescue Po ako sa gilid ng hiway kasama ng mga kapatid ko noong kasagsagan ng bagyo,
Itinapon po kami ng may ari sa amin, mabuti nlng at nadaanan kmi ng TAIL. Agad nila kaming kinuha at kinupkop.
Pero nktong mga nakaranag araw, nag umpisa akong umubo at nawalan nang ganang kumain, kaya dinala ako sa vet clinic ni furmom Kai.
May sakit po ako at duda ni tita doc baka po parvo. Kailangan ko poag pa test upang malaman kung anu po ang sanhi ng aking sakit.

Hi Hoomans!
Its been a while since I first talked to you all and asked for your mercy. Thank you for your collective efforts, TAIL was able to send me to the vet and was given immediate care despite that my burn was already days old.
All of you shared a part of you despite that you all do not know me or personally saw meโand for that i am truly grateful.
I really fought to survive that harrowing experience but my body was too weak to battle the infection, and other sickness which probably developed when my immune system was down following the throwing of scalding cooking oil incident.
I really tried but Jesus maybe thought Its finally time to go.
In Him, I no longer experience pain, no more cruel hooman.
Just love and happiness.
Hoomans at TAIL, thank you for taking care of me, to the donors who unselfishly shared what they have to ease my pain and to the staff at tita doc's clinic who nursed me to the very end.
My heart is grateful beyond words but my journey in this world is over and done.
You all taught me that this world, despite its chaos and cruelty is also teeming with kind and loving people like all of you.
I would have given birth to a lot of beautiful babies.
They would have run and bounce and be just adorable.
But my time is up.
I wasn't alone when I passed and I felt the warmth of the love and care you all showered upon me.
Thank you everyone.
May God continue to bless all of you and may you forge ahead in fighting for animal welfare.

A Call for Heroes
Team Aspin of Iloilo, or simply TAIL is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting animal welfare, particularly dogs and cats. But, time and again, in our journey of saving or rescuing these neglected, abused and abandoned angels, we encounter people who also need help and that's what we are highlighting today.
Meet this deaf-mute couple HOPE and JOSEPH residing in their shanty house beside Iloilo Central School, in front of the Iloilo Division Office and SPED. TAIL responded to a report earlier of a potential incident of dog slaughter for human consumption, which is a crime under Republic Act 8485 or Animal Welfare Act and punishable by "imprisonment ranging from six (6) months to two (2) years or a fine โฆ at the discretion of the court."
Hope and Joseph own the furbaby in question. When we tried to get to the bottom of the story, we were faced with a huge dilemmaโboth (Hope and Joseph) are deaf and mute and since we don't know sign language, we just resorted to creative ways to get the information we needed.
So, it turned out to be a sort of "Pinoy Henyo" segment, but this is the best we can do in a situation like this one.
TAIL learned that the couple has two furbabies, whom we named CENTRAL And SPED.
Central was not slaughtered for human consumption but met a terrible vehicular accident and died.
What's amazing about these furparents is that they love their furbabies dearly. While we were having a hard time communicating with each other, we saw the lingering tears in their eyes while recounting that horrible day they lost their angel. They even cleaned it and buried and kept Central's leash.
At TAIL, we survey the area when we do our rescuing activity and noticeably, Sped, their other furbaby very clean and does not smell at all. He is well-raised and we saw how he is loved by his furparents.
In this situation, we can see that love and kindness transcend disabilities.

Hi, my name is Portia and like most of the dogs that TAIL posts on this page, I am a street dog too, an Aspin, as many fondly call us.
But like you, we are just angels on four legs with tails, trying to live, no, survive in this world dominated by hoomans.
Three days ago, I was looking for food probably because aside from hunger, I might be pregnant.
But, three days ago, in one of my adventures to find something to put on my growling stomach, a hooman, a not-so-kind-one, who probably found me annoying or bad for their business, threw a scalding cooking oil on me.
It burnt my fur and reached the deeper layer of my skin.
My neck received most of the scalding cooking oil and it is currently, as Tita Doc Laila Lanes says, the part of my body that suffered the worst burn.
My dear hoomans, I know you are familiar with the pain of getting burnt by hot cooking oil because you love to fry your food.
But my experience would have beaten all of yours since it was thrown to half of my bodyโfrom neck to tail.
My rescuers from TAIL found out about my situation three days after that incident and so they saw that my skin already had maggots, huh, those legless larvae must have thought I'm already a decaying matter.
Tita doc said I am in critical condition and although she suspects that I might be pregnant, she couldn't run an ultrasound on me because, at this point, she can barely touch me as I am writhing in pain with every slight touch.
Even my rescuers from TAIL earlier had a hard time taking me from my spot because I was very aggressive but who would want to be moved in this condition?
Tita Doc also said my platelet count is extremely low, which could be due to parasites feasting in me.
Imagine, them feeding on me, and perhaps the babies in my tummy, while me exploring the streets to scavenge for food.
Hoomans, I needed help before and I need help now more than ever.
Aside from praying for my healing and eventual recovery, can you also spare me something so I can live?
