Celebrate 124th Semana sang Iloilo with Free Veterinary Services!
The Iloilo Provincial Government is thrilled to announce the 124th Semana sang Iloilo, taking place from April 7th to 11th, 2025!

As part of this celebration, the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian will be offering FREE neutering services, vitamin supplementation, and deworming for your beloved pets on April 8, 2025.

Priority for neutering will be given to our native MALE dogs and cats – ASPINS (Asong Pinoy) and PUSPINS (Pusang Pinoy).
WE LIMIT 2 PETS PER OWNER ONLY.

Pre-Operative Instructions for Canine and Feline Neuter Surgery
Requirements:
* Healthy Animals Only: Only apparently healthy dogs and cats are eligible for surgery.
* Recommended Age: Neuter surgery is recommended at minimum of six months of age and maximum of 7 Y.O.
* Breed Preference: While all breeds are welcome, priority may be given to native breeds (ASPINS).
* Rabies Vaccination: Animals must be vaccinated against rabies at least 14 days prior to the scheduled surgery. Proof of vaccination may be required.

Pre-Surgery Preparation:

A. Night Before Surgery:
* Fasting: Withhold all food for six (6) hours prior to the scheduled surgery time.
* Bathing/Cleaning: Bathe your pet or thoroughly clean the ge***al and abdominal areas to minimize the risk of infection.
* Dryness: Ensure your pet is clean and completely dry before admission.
* Water Restriction: Remove access to drinking water first thing in the morning on the day of surgery.

B. Morning of Surgery:
* Continued Fasting: Do not give any food or water on the morning of the procedure. This is crucial to prevent vomiting while under anesthesia.

Signing of Consent form: Upon registration, you will be required to sign a consent form to be provided by the OPVet staff. Please read this form carefully and ask any questions you may have before signing.

Our dear neighbor, who happens to be a dear client, messaged us about Gab. He is finally back at OPVC ❤️❤️❤️ My heart is full knowing that our dear Gabgab is loved by many. We sincerely thank everyone for your help and concern. As much as we want Gab to stay indoors, it causes too much stress on him. Rest assured that he is now safe and sound.

Gabgab doesn’t want to be confined inside the clinic and prefers to sit outside watching people and pets come in and out of the clinic. Please help us bring Gab home. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Sa mga makakita kay Gab, please message us. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Gab is a castrated domestic shorthair cat who wears a neon green reflective collar with his name and our contact number.
