Why is semi annual heart check up in cats about their heart is important?
It could cause sudden death to your cats especially if left untreated.
Dr. Maya is currently attending a workshop from Assistant Professor Dr. Kittipong Tachampa FROM European School for Advance Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) at Suntec Convention Center, Singapore

Furparents,
Pet Groomers are not miracle makers, if you don't want your furbabies to get a summer cut (kalbo), please comb their coat EVERYDAY and please give anti garapata medication to them too.
Why is skin irritations in dogs and cats need to be checked by the vets before giving medications?
Because not all scratching, baldness and redness of the skin are cause by bacteria and fungi, sometimes it's mites. It is also TRANSMISSIBLE TO HUMAN.
Please bring your furbabies to a veterinarian for proper assessment and medications.
Patient name is Bella. She was brought to us by her furparents after Bella played and bit a frog or what we called "Karag". She was debiliated, hypersalivating and having tremors and seizures.
Doc Maya immediately cleaned Bella and gave medications for the signs manifested by the patient. Bella was hooked to a heart monitoring machine to check for the heart activity as toad toxin affects the patient's heart.
Luckily, Bella recovered well.
Toad Poisoning can cause death to a patient. There is NO DIRECT treatment to this toxin; treatment is generally supportive medications only.
If this happens to your furbaby, call the your Veterinarian and please bring them ASAP to the clinic.

Day 2 Phil Animal Hospital Association's Veterinary Scientific Conference
ATM.
Aerial and liquid disinfection are performed in our clinic during our lunch break, to maintain the cleanliness and a safe haven for our furbabies.
Emergency CS last April 3, 2023 due to no heartbeat puppies upon ultrasound examination and Mommy Pancake wasn't contracting at all.
Luckily, after applying CPR, those 2 puppies were revived. So we named them Mira and Kel (MIRACLE) without the furparents knowing (now they knew 🤣🤣).
Few minutes after Caesarian Section, mommy Pancake is now ready to go home. But I can't discharge her for proper observation. Because those pups pooped and urinated already inside the uterus.
Today, Mommy Pancake and these 2 puppies are for their deworming.
No scar evident after surgery.
Day 1 AnimalCon 2023 just ended
You can still join us!
February 10, 11 & 12 at SMX Convention Center Manila
2 of our grooming patients today receiving their oral multivitamins after their grooming sessions
Since grooming for both dogs and cats are stressful, we give multivitamins/ supplements to them after their grooming sessions.
To maintain that our clinic are safe for viral and bacterial infection to cross from one patient to another, we routinely perform aerial (daily spray and fumigation) disinfection. This no patient entry will be until tomorrow.
Clinic operations will resume on Sunday Nov 6, 2022 9am to 5pm to accommodate other patients scheduled on Saturday. Thank you
Cats also deserve a treat and a snack every day.
Featuring our adopted furbaby Kikay, she is having her morning snack.

This is Mocha, a 5 month old Pug puppy that was diagnosed with Ehrlichiosis.
After being paralyzed, oral medication and physical therapy for days by her furparents, she can now stand and walk.
She still has a long way to go.
