Canine Heart Worm Disease....

Dogs contract heart worms through bites of mosquitoes that carry the infective heart worm larva. Dogs suffering from this disease may show coughing, breathing problems, exercise intolerance, discoloration of skin and gums (blue or purplish), bloody spits, nasal bleeding, ascites or accumulation of fluid in the abdomen, and fainting. Severe cases may cause serious damage to the lungs and heart.

If your pet is not on Heartworm Prevention, this is likely happening to them. Please visit your vet!!
