During trauma, the globe is displaced from the orbit, and the eyelids are entrapped behind the globe, thus preventing return of the globe to its normal position. (Source: Veterinary Merck Manual)

Eye enucleation, or removal of the eyeball, is advised if the patient's eye was seriously injured. If there is a chance of retaining the patientโ€™s vision, temporary tarsorrhaphy or temporary closure of eyelids is suggested to re-attaching the globe and protect the cornea.

Ang Parvovirus ay isang nakamamatay na sakit sa mga a*o na maaaring maging sanhi ng matinding pagtatae, pagsusuka, at pagkahina ng kanilang immune system.

Narito ang ilang mga hakbang upang maiwasan ang pagkalat nito:

1. Bakunahan ang iyong alaga laban sa Parvovirus. Mahalaga ang regular na pagpapabakuna upang mapanatili silang ligtas laban sa sakit na ito.

2. Iwasan ang mga lugar na maraming mga a*ong hindi kilala o hindi alam kung sila ay nabakunahan laban sa Parvovirus.

3. Panatilihing malinis ang kanilang kapaligiran. Regular na linisin ang kanilang tahanan, pati na rin ang mga lugar na kanilang madalas puntahan sa labas.

4. Kung may mga sintomas ng Parvovirus ang iyong alaga, Agad na dalhin sa beterinaryo upang mabigyan ng agarang lunas at pangalagaan ang kanilang kalusugan.
