This little creepy crawly in the video is a Microfilaria, also known as baby heartworm, found in the blood of a dog after a Microfilaria test was performed as part of the diagnostic process for dog heartworm.
Heartworm disease is a serious condition transmitted through mosquito bites but it is preventable with preventive medications, and regular vet visits.

Successfully removed a uterus filled with pus from a 7-year-old shihtzu mixed dog. This dog suffered from what we called pyometra.It is a common reproductive problem and life-threatening condition in older female dogs and cats that are not spayed. This is a secondary infection due to hormonal changes in the reproductive tract.
It does require risky emergency surgery to remove the infected uterus by performing an ovariohysterctomy (Spay). Which is what we successfully did here to save Bambeena's life.
That is why we highly suggest our furparents get their dogs and cats spayed.
