Ear mites in dogs ans cats can cause discomfort due to itchiness, skin damage due to excessive scratching, and ear infection due to the damage on the ear lining. Infestation can be prevented by administering preventative medications such as spot-ons, medicated sprays and powder, etc. In cases of skin damage due to severe scratching, CANDI's madre de cacao and sulfur soaps may be helpful in alleviating the skin problem caused by this parasite.
