Prior to dental cleaning or prophylaxis, it is "A MUST" that dental radiographs be done first for the veterinary dentist to evaluate & chart the treatment plan needed for the patient to avoid cleaning teeth that need to be extracted so as to decrease anesthesia time and increase patient safety. It is important that we follow the standard protocol. No shortcuts!

Our resident veterinarian, Dr. Christine Estacio, along with other colleagues from the Philippines, Dr. Joy Santos and Dr. Ian Jagmis, are curently attending the VPAT Veterinary Regional Congress in Thailand.

They joined the "Vaccination" session where a very detailed discussion of the 2024 WSAVA Vaccination Guidelines by the Chair of World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) Vaccination Guidelines Group (VGG), Dr. Mary Marcondes took place. Also, with them is Thailand's very own Dr. Siraya Chunekamrai, WSAVA's Past President.

It is always important for every small animal practitioner to be updated and knowledgable of the recent guidelines in Vaccination along with scientific studies done which explains every rationale behind it. Vaccination is crucial in achieving your furbabies' immunization to stay protected against infectious diseases. It is a key component of your pet's health care.
