Job Purpose:
-To help the company establish strong brand equity and product positioning in the market.
-To provide timely technical updates and support to company’s sales team.
-Manages all technical data of animal nutrition products for the company.
-Help the company achieve its annual sales targets by providing technical support to the sales team and AG customers.
Duties:
A. Technical Duties:
-Manage the development of NEW ANIMAL NUTRITION PRODUCTS to be introduced to the market.
-Product design
-Product evaluation
-Product registrations in coordination with Company Compliance Officer
-Practical applications for new products
-Assist in brochures and presentations development
-Manage product development for EXISTING ANIMAL NUTRITION PRODUCTS
-Technical positioning
-Market positioning
-Price positioning (Product Cost benefit analysis)
Commercial Trials and Trial Protocols
-Provide Assistance for customers, business units and account managers on technical concerns.
-Company Product Training and Round Table discussions
-Product trials monitoring
-Coordination with external nutritionist consultants
-Travel and “Work-With” schedules with Account Managers/Account Executives
-Technical Support for Client Calls and Farm Visits
-Plant visits to supplier’s and/or principal’s facilities
-All other functions of Technical Nutritionist that will help the company achieve its corporate, sales and marketing objectives.
-Represents the company in industry technical groups and/or societies
B. Other Duties:
-Acts as the point of first reference for all animal nutrition products related inquiries and work collaboratively with the client’s regulatory officer to address any issues that may arise.
-Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
-Reviews and edits all product promotional materials and events such as brochures, product presentations, professional publications, seminars and conventions. Coordinates the same with all principals, suppliers and clients.
-Maintains proper grooming and adheres to the given company dress code.
-Performs other duties as assigned by upper management.
Skills/Qualifications:
-Graduates of BS Agriculture, BS Agri-Business Management, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Marketing, shall be preferred
• Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in the field of sales and marketing (preferably in the Agricultural Industry – specifically Animal Nutrition, Animal Science/Husbandry and the like.)
• Practicing Animal Nutritionist for Swine and Poultry is preferred
• Must have good knowledge of the Agricultural Industry (knowledge in any of the ff: Swine, Poultry, Aqua and the like).
• Sales experience in animal health and nutrition is preferred but not necessarily required.
• Must possess a pleasing personality and strong communication skills
• Has the ability to plan, budget, organize, manage and carry out planned sales and marketing strategies of the company.
• Must possess the discipline, passion and resilience necessary to make it BIG in the agri-sales and marketing industry
• Driving skills is a must as a Company Car will be provided
• 80% Field / 20% Office
-Compensation package will be discussed after passing the initial (written and initial interview) assessment.
