We mostly see worm eggs but sometimes the immature forms are the diagnostic appearance in the laboratory.
⚠️ Careful about threadworms! These can cross the human skin if you handle or are exposed to an infected cat’s feces!
🌸 Remember:
Regular deworming interrupts the life cycle so that even if your dogs and cats do get infected with worms, then deworming will prevent serious and complicated disease.

This is one of our patients in the past who sadly passed away. Yes, showing signs of RABIES infection.
We’ve recently had more than usual cases of Rabies suspects and sadly do not always hear from the pet owners about the progress of the patients.
So please for your own awareness, these are some FACTS about Rabies disease:
- it is NOT INBORN
- is is a viral disease that is passed by the entry of SALIVA into the blood stream
- dogs and cats CAN STILL RECOGNIZE you and will not always bite you
- there is a PARALYTIC form of the disease. Some just gradually get weaker and paralyzed then die. (They don’t always go “crazy”)
- proper vaccination is very effective! It saves lives!
- the Philippine Rabies Law requires once a year vaccination because the disease is sadly still endemic. We can change this if we work together! 🙏🏼
Again, Rabies is NOT inborn. But is FATAL.
