Former DOTR Secretary Arthur Planta TUGADE (APT) visited the farm to see and discuss about the aquaponics and hydroponics build we have made over the past two years on site.

We are very grateful for the privilege and honour bestowed upon us by providing his precious time coming over chatting the day away.

Back in the day, I officially met APT when he was the President of Clark Development Corporation while I was managing ICTSI Subic Terminals then.

Over time, APT was gracious enough to invite me to one of PERRY’s Group Foundation Day introducing his wife and children. It was an endearing and kind gesture that I relish to this day. The rest is history.

APT dedicated and signed off his autobiography book “THE ART OF IT ALL”, addressed to me and my wife. The book will be a cherished read as we find solace and wisdom through the words of his experiences, trials, tribulations and triumph over the years.

There are more superlatives to say about this great man. But through my eyes I see him as true Filipino patriot, an astute entrepreneur, a philanthropist and a very loving and dedicated family man.

Thank you for your recognition and friendship throughout the years. Cheers to your health and prosperity.

The aquaponics system inside a sawtooth greenhouse was successfully completed.

The system includes Flood & Drain (F&D) beds which can grow fruiting vines and vegetables as well as Deep Water Culture (DWC) beds to grow additional green leafy vegetables like kale.

The aquaponics system training session was held together with our investment partners and staff under the guidance of Dr. Ian Hizon of Second Earth Farms.

The system is operational with cycling in progress. Soon we will start growing 🍅 🫑 🥒 🌶🥕🥔🥬

Expressing our gratitude and appreciation to BFAR R4A Regional Office for providing the 800 male tilapia fingerlings to jumpstart our new aquaponics system in order to cycle fish waste into good bacteria for plant nutrients.

We were educated and enlightened at how the fishery production office operates, nurtures and cultivates the tilapia fish from fry to maturity.
