Our beautiful BRC pullet going 5 months old next month. 🖤
Coryza booster vaccine done ✅ after their bathe. 💉
Our 1 month old “Mackenzie” hybrid line, black mottled. So far, we can now see “fairly mottled” chicks in this clutch. 🖤🤍
Summer season is approaching, that’s why its important that we give frequent bathe to our birds for heat stroke prevention and to control mites that are most active during summer.
Our cochin chicks now at 2 weeks old.
Resting after receiving their first gumboro vaccine. In the next few weeks, this will be their mode: Eat, play, and sleep. 🐥
Always excited every time we have new hatchlings in the coop! They are from our 2nd generation hybrid line mottled. Tomorrow will be the sched of their first gumboro vaccination. 🐣🖤🤍
They’re all excited to come out of their cage every Sundays as they know that Sundays are “stroll day” 🖤🤍☀️
Together again. Our second attempt to breed our blacks. The first attempt was not that successful as most of their eggs are infertile. Hopefully, more are fertile this time. 🖤
Based on our experience, Mites infestation is most common beginning February up to summer that’s why its important that you do routine bathing atleast once a month during this season. Cochins and silkies are the most vulnerable breeds with mites so you better do weeky inspections.
We will just finish the cold season in Lipa before we set them for breeding. Egg collection will start on March. 🖤🥚
