Update: thank you everyone for your response, we have found a suitable donor already unfortunately, we are still critically monitoring Buchichay as of the moment as her vitals are not stable and not yet fit for a transfusion.

We are in need of blood donor ASAP.

Buchichay has been diagnosed with erhlichiosis and her blood values are very poor. I’m afraid she won’t make it today without the blood transfusion 😥

We are knocking in your hearts as we need a Dog hero now.

Hero, our adorable patient and the only survivor among the litter, presented to the clinic with no appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea. He then tested positive for both parvovirus and had a high worm burden. After a few days of confinement, he is now on his way to full recovery! 💙🐾🐶

Finally we are done for the day 💙

Pawlermo Animal Clinic volunteered with CVM-VSU for the Provincial Veterinary Office of Southern Leyte’s— FREE dog and cat castration 2024. We were able to cater 80+ heads (dog and cats) which definitely makes an impact to help lessen the stray population! 💙🐾

Thank you Doc Joel for the opportunity to volunteer. Good job PVO-So. Leyte team and CVM-VSU for the awesome team work!

To all the paw-rents also who were patient enough to wait in line amidst the heat, thank you and let’s continue to make a difference, one kapon at a time! 💙🐾

We have confirmed a rising case of tick-borne diseases over the past few weeks 😥💔

What are tick-borne diseases? 🤔
✔️These are diseases that are transmitted though the bite of an infected tick.

These include: Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, and Babesiosis

Signs to look out for:
✅ fever
✅ loss of appetite
✅ painful or swollen joints
✅ bruising
✅ abnormal bleeding
✅ lethargy

Prevention is through regular tick and flea preventives only. 💯
